How to use the gallery, post of paintings, other works of art and related information in the gallery, as well as the rules of buying and selling paintings
- The price of painting or art work done in other techniques is directly appointed by an artist. When assigning prices the real costs and common sense is taken into account rather than the hypothetical possibility of cost of their labor after 100 years.
- Prices shown exclude the cost of shipping and other additional costs such as packaging, paperwork related to the export requirement, custom clearing and other costs not related to the artwork itself..
- Any information published on this site must conform to its subject matter. Information beyond the scope of the topic of MyArtGallery will be removed.
- It is prohibited to publish URLs or links to any other websites, addresses, and any other information of advertising nature.
- The owner of the artwork exhibited in the gallery, must publish correct and up to date contact information.
- It is the responsibility and the best interest of the owner to maintain the contact information up to date.
- In the case of a request from the customer to buy a picture or piece of art made in a different technique and the last payment of the order, the author is required to implement the dispatch at the gallery Administration as soon as possible, sending e-mail with a copy of his receipt of shipment to the Administration.
- The artist must follow the above rules on the sale of paintings and other works of art through MyArtGallery.
About the sales process:
In order to exhibit art work for sale, you must fill out the "price" in the form of information about the product. Upon order receipt by the Administration of the MyArtGallery gallery, we inform the author about it and having received confirmation of the availability of work for sale, send the bill to buyer with the value and cost of delivery and packaging. After receiving payment, we will inform the author by sending him to the appropriate legal notice. The author than carries out shipment of art work to buyer (in this case, sending is done using the postal service and at the buyer address specified by MyArtGallery Administration). When the shipment is sent author sends MyArtGallery Administration a copy of shipment receipts. 3 days after receipt of the art work by Buyer, the MyArtGallery Administration transfers to an account cost of sold products indicated by the author in the registration, MyArtGallery net fee at a rate of 30 per cent of the of the price of art work author alleged. If you have any additional questions from Buyer concerning the product or its delivery, administration of the site redirects them to the author and the author agrees to immediately, i.e. within 24 hours to respond. Upon receipt of your order and prior to the date of the transaction, the product gets the status of "reserved" and is excluded from the sale.
On the production of copies or reproductions:
Each author may wish to notify the MyArtGallery Authority of readiness, upon the order, to comply with a copy of work, or may authorize the MyArtGallery Administration reproduction of work. MyArtGallery Administration takes work related to transfer images to a special vehicle. To produce a print, the artist must provide administration a qualifying, in accordance with the color solution, the digital image in the .jpg format (Additional parameters: the resolution and size in pixels depends on the size ordered, and copies will be determined separately in each case). The amount of author fees and payment procedures will be negotiated individually.
On the update of information:
Everyone author registered on the MyArtGallery portal once every two weeks must confirm the relevance of information available. MyArtGallery Administration is particularly interested in the relevance of the information displayed on the author to sell the works, i.e. cost and availability of work for sale, as well as the author contact information relevance, i.e. e-mail address and telephone number. To confirm the information, the author once every two weeks visits MyArtGallery using his login and password. This procedure does not apply to those authors who regularly come in to the portal and update relevant information. However, those authors who have placed the work for sale and for whatever reasons do not attend MyArtGallery, must periodically review this information. In case if any of the authors did not go to the MyArtGallery page within 14 days, the Administration of the project will send a notice to the email address specified upon registration with a request via a link to confirm the accuracy of the data available on MyArtGallery. If the author does not take chance to update information in 72 hours his work for sale will be removed from the tracking system and will no longer be visible to visitors of MyArtGallery. In order to return to active status Author must:
1) go to MyArtGallery page with the link specified in the notice
2) indicate his login and password, and send a confirmation by pressing the "send" button
The above verification system operates on MyArtGallery for the MyArtGallery Administration to provide clients who wish to make a purchase with a guarantee that the transaction of buying art work will be completed successfully. In other words, worrying about the reputation MyArtGallery, which among other things is determined by the accuracy of any posting, as well as the accuracy and the binding of MyArtGallery administration in deals to sell, we must demand organization and the fulfillment of the conditions of cooperation with us from the authors. This is because unfortunately, many authors forget to update the information on the availability and price on sale and MyArtGallery customers, often can not buy their ordered products, which adversely affects the MyArtGallery credibility and the interest to buy from other authors.
MyArtGallery Administration agrees to comply with copyright law in line with current the legislation of Latvia Republic, and international rules on Copyright and not to use the image presented by the author’s works in any other cases, except in cases related to the performance of a specific order. MyArtGallery Administration agrees not to transmit images to others, and ensures that a copy of the work in case of a print order will be printed in quantities corresponding to the number specified in the order. In the case if authors don’t execute their obligations under the terms and quality of digital images of art work, MyArtGallery Administration has the right to refuse author further participation in the service "Order Reproductions."
In case of violation of these provisions, we reserve the right to terminate the contract and remove your work and information about you from the pages of our gallery.
Terms of use for buyers and other visitors to the gallery:
When purchasing any product from available on MyArtGallery you should bear in mind the following points:
1. Price that you see a picture, does not include the cost of shipping and packaging. Their value, taking into account the costs for the services of your chosen postal services will be added to bill for the purchase, which you will receive from MyArtGallery Administration.
2. After you receive the art work, you have three days (72 hours) to familiarize with it and the possibly reject the purchase. The right to reject the purchase will be realized, if you are in the above deadline, MyArtGallery Administration was formally notified about his desire to return the purchase. In this case, you alone shall bear the costs associated with packing and sending art work return. The procedure of returning art work should begin after confirmation of possible adoption by MyArtGallery Administration. When sending work, as proofs of absence of damage please attach a photo of art work, which would reflect its status prior to shipment. The money transferred by you to the MyArtGallery as payment for the purchase, will be transferred to you only after MyArtGallery Administration receives your shipment and inspects art work for the absence of damage. If any damage found (in the absence of photographs of the work before sending), the MyArtGallery Administration will not be able to return your money.
